La machine utilis\u00e9e est le tour. Le tournage est d\u00e9fini par un <strong>mouvement de rotation<\/strong> de la pi\u00e8ce et un mouvement principalement rectiligne de l\u2019outil. La lame de l\u2019outil p\u00e9n\u00e8tre dans le mat\u00e9riau de la pi\u00e8ce en d\u00e9tachant la partie en exc\u00e8s, appel\u00e9e sur\u00e9paisseur, et formant ainsi un copeau.<\/p><p><strong><span style=\"color: #7ea9bc;\">FRAISAGE:<\/span><\/strong> il s\u2019agit d\u2019un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 <strong>d\u2019usinage m\u00e9canique \u00e0 froid,<\/strong> par enl\u00e8vement de copeau, \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019un outil qui tourne autour <strong>de son axe sur une pi\u00e8ce dans un mouvement d\u2019avancement<\/strong>. Par rapport au tournage, le mouvement de l\u2019outil est \u00e9galement de <strong>rotation<\/strong>, et non rectiligne. Afin de pouvoir r\u00e9aliser la pi\u00e8ce finie, il est n\u00e9cessaire que celle-ci puisse \u00eatre ins\u00e9r\u00e9e dans la pi\u00e8ce de d\u00e9part, \u00e0 partir de laquelle la sur\u00e9paisseur sera enlev\u00e9e.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #7ea9bc;\"><strong>SOUDAGE:<\/strong><\/span> il s\u2019agit d\u2019une technique d\u2019assemblage qui r\u00e9alise <strong>l\u2019union permanente de deux pi\u00e8ces m\u00e9talliques<\/strong> avec ou sans enl\u00e8vement de mat\u00e9riau (<strong>M\u00c9TAL D\u2019APPORT<\/strong>) et sous l\u2019action de la chaleur. Le M\u00c9TAL D\u2019APPORT est distribu\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat fondu entre les pans convenablement pr\u00e9par\u00e9s (chanfreinage) des pi\u00e8ces \u00e0 unir.<br \/>Les <strong>PANS<\/strong>, ou bords, sont les surfaces qui, dans toute leur longueur, sont concern\u00e9es par le soudage des pi\u00e8ces\u00a0; leur pr\u00e9paration est effectu\u00e9e en donnant une forme g\u00e9om\u00e9trique opportune, en fonction notamment de l\u2019\u00e9paisseur \u00e0 souder, afin de faciliter la r\u00e9alisation du soudage.<br \/>Le mat\u00e9riau des pi\u00e8ces \u00e0 unir s\u2019appelle <strong>MAT\u00c9RIAU DE BASE<\/strong>.<br \/>Le<strong> BAIN DE FUSION<\/strong> est la partie du m\u00e9tal qui, au cours de la fusion, se trouve \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat liquide. Le <strong>CORDON DE SOUDAGE<\/strong> est constitu\u00e9 par tout le m\u00e9tal, celui de base et celui d\u2019apport, solidifi\u00e9s par refroidissement apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 fondus lors du soudage. Le cordon de soudage est l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ment essentiel du joint soud\u00e9 et son d\u00e9p\u00f4t d\u00e9termine la technique de soudage en tant que
